Defense Attorney Michael Horowitz won his client a resentencing hearing in a Mt. Pleasant, Michigan case where he argued that his client’s trial lawyer failed to effectively represent him at sentencing and that the trial court erroneously calculated his sentencing guidelines. Attorney Horowitz presented highly technical arguments about Michigan criminal sentencing law and the specific facts of his client’s case.
