Law Office of Michael Horowitz Wins Reversal of Two Convictions.

In Martusheff v. State of Alaska, the Alaska Court of Appeals reversed two of our client’s convictions for first-degree harassment. The court’s opinion and our brief did a deep into the legislative history of the statute and legal doctrines such as “transferred intent.”


The decision is available here. The underlying facts do not exactly make for polite conversation and involve legal questions about throwing a cup of something unpleasant at one person and hitting several people. The full citation is Martusheff v. State, 474 P.3d 12 (Alaska App. 2020).
